هدف البحث إلى التعرف على كفايات اكتشاف الموهوبين ورعايتهم اللازم توفرها ضمن مقررات برنامج الدبلوم العام في التربية، والوقوف على درجة توفر تلك الكفايات ضمن مقررات البرنامج من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس اللاتي يقمن بتدريس مقررات البرنامج، ومن وجهة نظر الطالبات المقيدات في البرنامج والمتوقع تخرجهن في العام الدراسي 1432 / 1433هـ، كما يهدف البحث أيضا إلى التعرف على دلالة الفروق بين آراء أعضاء هيئة التدريس وآراء طالبات برنامج الدبلوم العام في التربية عندرجة توفر تلك الكفايات ضمن مقررات البرنامج، وتقديم عدد من التوصيات التيقد تسهم في تجويد مخرجات البرنامج وتحسينه في هذا الجانب. وقد استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي لدراسة موضوع البحث، وقامت بإعداد استبانة تهدف إلى تحديد كفايات اكتشاف الموهوبين ورعايتهم والتي ينبغي تضمينها في برنامج الدبلوم العام في التربية، وقياس درجة توفر تلك الكفايات في مقررات البرنامج، وقد اشتملتا لاستبانة على (42) كفاية في مجالي اكتشاف الموهوبين ورعايتهم بواقع (17) كفاية في مجال الاكتشاف و(25) كفاية في مجال الرعاية وطبقت الاستبانة بعد التأكد من صدقها وثباتها على عينة البحث والتي اشتملت على (20) عضواً من أعضاء هيئة التدريس اللاتي يقمن بتدريس مقررات البرنامج وعلى (94) طالبة من جميع طالبات البرنامج، وبعد معالجة البيانات باستخدام التكرارات والنسب المئوية، والمتوسطات الحسابية والانحرافات المعيارية، واختبار "ت" (T-Test) توصلت الباحثة إلى النتائج التالية: كانت آراء أعضاء هيئة التدريس كالتالي: عدم توفر جميع كفايات اكتشاف الموهوبين في مقررات برنامج الدبلوم العام في التربية. عدم توفر جميع كفايات رعاية الموهوبين في مقررات البرنامج ذاته فيما عدا كفايتين وهما:(بناء الأسئلة الموجهة لمهارات التفكير العليا، تطبيق طرائق حل المشكلات إبداعياً) فقد توفرتا بدرجة ضعيفة. كانت آراء طالبات برنامج الدبلوم العام في التربية كالتالي: عدم توفر جميع كفايات اكتشاف الموهوبين في مقررات البرنامج، فيما عدا أربع كفايات وهي. (التميز بين المفهومات. العبقري/ الذكي/ المتفوق/ الموهوب/ المبدع/ العادي، تحديد الخصائص العقلية للطالبة الموهوبة، تحديد الخصائص الانفعالية للطالبة الموهوبة، تحديد الخصائص الاجتماعية للطالبة الموهوبة) فقد توفرت بدرجة ضعيفة. عدم توفر جميع كفايات رعاية الموهوبين في مقررات البرنامج فيما عدا ثلاث كفايات وهي: (بناء الأسئلة الموجهة لمهارات التفكير العليا، تطبيق طرائق حل المشكلات إبداعيا دمج مهارات التفكير في المنهج الدراسي) فقد توفرت بدرجة ضعيفة. ثالثاً: عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً بين متوسطات درجات آراء أعضاء هيئة التدريس وآراء طالبات الدبلوم العام في التربية حيال توفر كفايات اكتشاف الموهوبين ورعايتهم في مقررات البرنامج. \
The research aims at identifying competences required to discover and to sponsor the talented, and to ensure the provision of such competence in the curricula of the General Diploma in Education program. It refers to the degree of availability of those competences within the program curricula from the perspective of faculty members who teach this program, on the one hand; and from the perspective of the students enrolled in the program and expected to be graduated in the academic year 1432/1433H, on the other. The research also aims at identifying the significant differences between the views of faculty members and the views of students of the General Diploma in Education on the degree of availability of those prerequisite competences in the curricula of the program, and at providing a number of recommendations that may contribute to improving the output of the program. The researcher applied the descriptive method in the research and prepared a questionnaire to identify competences required to discover and to sponsor the talented, which should be included in the program of the General Diploma in Education, and to measure the degree of availability of those competences in the curricula of the program. The questionnaire includes (42) adequate competences in the areas of discovering and sponsoring of the talented; (17) in the areas of discovering them, and (25) in the areas of sponsoring them. The questionnaire is applied on (20) sample faculty members who teach the curricula of the program and on (94) students, the total number of learners enrolled in the program. After processing the data by using percentages, frequencies, mean values, standard deviations, and T-Test, The researcher reached the following results: First: the views of the faculty members are as follows: The unavailability of any of competence (required to discover the talented) in the curricula of the program of the General Diploma in Education. The unavailability of any of competence required to sponsor the talented in the curricula of the same program, with the exception of two competences; namely, (forming questionnaires to discover exceptional intellectual abilities and applying creative methods of problem solving). However, these two competences are available only at a minimal rate. Second: the views of students of the diploma program are as follows: The unavailability of any of competences required to discover the talented in the curricula of the program of the General Diploma in Education, with the exception of four competences; namely, (the discrimination between the concepts of the following terms: genius / smart / brilliant / talented / creative / normal; the identification of the mental, the responsive and the social characteristics of the talented. However, these four competences are available only at a minimal rate. The unavailability of any of competence required to sponsor the talented in the curricula of the same program, with the exception of three competences; namely, (forming questionnaires to discover exceptional intellectual abilities, applying creative methods of problem solving and integrating thinking competences into the curricula). However, these three competences are available only at aminimalrate. Third: There are no statistically significant differences between the average views of faculty members and those of the students of the General Diploma concerning the availability of the prerequisite adequate competences required to discover and to sponsor the talented in the curricula of the program. \
